The driving force behind Palco Specialties is Team Work.

Palco Specialties was founded by Philip May and Jo May with a mission to serve schools across the United States. In 2022, Philip and Jo decided to retire and handed the keys to us. We are honored to continue their legacy and uphold the values they established.

Our goal is to work hard and never compromise on quality for students and teachers. We are committed to providing top-quality products that meet the unique needs of educational institutions, ensuring that future stars have the best materials to support their success.

Philip was ready to handover the keys

Philip was ready to handover the keys but wanted to ensure the next owner operator would be as passionate about this business and products as he was. This is where we come in. We are group of diverse backgrounds and experiences. As the saying goes, “I wasn’t born in Texas but got here as fast as I could.” We are a group of friends who’ve known each other since childhood and it was only a matter of time until our bond turned into a partnership. We love and enjoy all things Texas from the BBQ, to the hill country views, to the Rodeos. Oh did we mention that we are veteran owned and operated!

We have inherited the manufacturing knowledge from Philip and combined it with our technological, business and procurement knowledge to improve a near perfect 20 year old method. We are obsessed with all things on stage and will do everything in our power to make your set stand out. We know our clients are just as passionate about their art as we are of our craft.
